As others have said, Madison was saying she wanted to talk about sex with Alex/a potential partner cause she thinks it’s important (but was bringing up past repression). Alex was asking to take it slow.

Madison comes off as extremely manipulative to me. She comes off as incredibly open and transparent, but it seems like a cat & mouse game, and also knows what to say to each guy to get him to feel what most suits each. She knows how to comfort Alex after she scares him. She tells him she's not sexual but is overtly sexual with Mason. She's a completely different person with each guy. She played games with Mason's other option and messed up their connection. I really liked her instantly but saw too many RED flags.

The allegations against Alex make me wonder if he's avoiding talking about sex because he doesn't want to bring up any history or preferences that would be considered taboo.

Sounds to me like Madison thought a lot about things, maybe even had therapy, but putting this 'trust into a partner' realization into action - I find with avoidants - is just talk unless they've put in YEARS of therapy
