Day 2 Dance Debut Online Retreat for Dancers and Teachers

Today we started by opening with a Goal to balance and release the emotional baggage of Covid to open new possibilities and awareness for the movement arts. We explored the Meridian Sweep as we had learnt it on Day 1, but then explored how to use the meridians to assess muscle engagement. We shared more about ESR's to release stress and calm for sleeping. We explored the Scale of Consciousness by David Hawkins to identify the kind of emotional lens we might be experiencing the world and discussed how to shift the lens. The Innate Matrix Memory was explored in depth to identify how to release emotion before looking at other challenges that pain might be showing. We share the book "Six Healing Sounds - Qi Gong for Children" by Lisa Spillane as an option for teaching about emotions and expression in the dance class.
