The single best thing about Apple certified refurbished is that they will swap the battery for you.

I bought a refurbished 2021 MacBook Pro M1 Pro on Amazon recently and it came in an Apple box, hence refurbished by Apple, and was Apple Care eligible., and was essentially brand new, in all respects. I took my time and did the research. There are both gems and lemons to be found.

Every refurbished product I’ve purchased from Apple looks new. Definitely worth it to get it direct from them.

I only buy refurbished from Apple. And I've never been disappointed.

The 2019 mbp was not good imo. Too thin, way overpowered cpu's for the bad thermals. Don't buy them, even refurbished.

It really depends on who the seller is, always make sure that it says sold and filled by Amazon.

It might still be more expensive, but it’s still better to get Apple refurbished for this very reason. I bought a used iPad Pro, and it was literally like a new unit.

I always put the protective stickers on my Mac to protect the body. They’re easy to remove if you really dislike them but they do a good job at protecting

I got the same type of Mac this past Christmas and about a week later or so it said the battery needed servicing but Apple wanted $300+ for the battery replacement. It also drains the battery even when powered off completely (and it seems to be a very popular issue though). Make sure you get your Apple products with genuine parts or some type of warranty!!

Amazon has lot of scammers. I recently got scammed on Quest 3 new and still waiting on my refund. They take like a month to refund

You should've made a claim about that because even from Amazon they're not supposed to be like that. They're not gonna be good as new most likely but they should've removed the screen protector, sticker, and changed the battery.

my 2014 air also had stickers and a dead battery but it was only $145 from walmart
i’m debating peeling them off because there is no edge dents leading me to believe they do this for all of the laptops and this one had nothing wrong

I sent a MacBook back to Amazon due to it having a GPU issue. And apparently didn’t properly remove it from iCloud because I got an email from the new owner asking if I could. Said they sold it to him as like new despite the defect. I didn’t tell him but made me more suspect of Amazon

I recently got an iPad Pro 11 2018 from Amazon Refurbished. The condition was good, only around the USB-C Port were some scratches. knockoff Charging Brick and Cable was included similar to your MacBook. The Battery is definitely not perfect but good enough, I don’t have any problems with it. The only weird thing is that the screen sometimes like three times a day or so touches itself. But still I could recommend from my experience.

I made the mistake of buying what was supposed to be “Apple AirPods” that came in an unopened Apple box. Come to find out, that when I tried to add Apple Care, that it wasn’t a certified Apple product.

If you didn't ask for battery cycle statistics before purchasing then that's your own fault.

I got a "renewed" 2017 MacBook Pro from amazon and yes the battery did come in bad at over 1000 cycles but everything else worked great! just replaced the battery myself, excited to see how long it'll last me

I've read some horror story reviews about Amazon refurbs but personally they have always made things right when I was not happy or had a problem.
