Use plastic barrels and not let the wood soak in the water. It won't last long as is

Although this is really cool, it is not giant. The design is pretty smart but try coating the underside in epoxy paint, or masonry paint, any latex paint really. For water proofing of your wood. Otherwise the wood will not last long. 😊
