Fabregas, Henry and the richest owners in Serie A: the rise of Como 1907

Como 1907’s rise from Serie D to Serie A has been quite remarkable, and they caught the eye of the world when Como signed Raphael Varane this summer. Their owners are the richest in Serie A, but they didn’t sign every talent available to them. Instead, they’ve tried to put the right football people in place to build a more well-rounded sporting project in order to not fall into the trappings that other Serie A mainstay aspirants fall into. With Thierry Henry involved, with Cesc Fabregas as a manager, and with the funds available to them to build out a competitive squad, Como is a very interesting club for this upcoming Serie A season, just as the rise of Como is an interesting story. Now, Sergi Roberto has joined them!

I live in como, and Como coming to serie A has made the people living here be more proud of the club and city/province and many people are now interested in our local team, before they used to follow inter, Milan (because they close) or Juventus. But Como became their comfort club. And i love how the club uses its social media to promote local stuff, they make school competitions of schools in the province and they help the comascos (people from Como) and businesses a lot by promoting and telling their stories to everyone and that makes me love the club so much

Hartono and Djarum in general has a passion and romanticism for sports… back on early 1960s, Hartono were allowed Djarum cigarette worker to play badminton in their workplace.

Later it transformed from hobby to a serious and professional badminton club, which become one of key factor Indonesia’s rich history in badminton scene.

I think the way Hartono’s build their sports team always the same: They treat it as a child. If you spoilt the kid by giving him/her all they want, they’d become fragile. But they wanted the kid grow naturally, being humble, surrounding the kid with the right environment in order to let the kid become a person he/she wanted to be

This is so funny especially Djarum were a cigarette company, a very total opposite of health and sports. But in life there’s always an anomaly lol

I swam in Como a couple months ago! I swam by a lot of villas, the locals were smiling alot, in confusion I imagine, as it was not very warm ahahaha. Cool to know their footy team is on the rise!
