Around a year or so back me and my wife twice went to Safdarjung Enclave Tata showroom to test drive their EV. Long back I had Indigo which made me cry all the time it was with me. Yet we wanted to give Tata Motors a second chance. Imagine, on both separate occasions the car’s battery was discharged. The staff couldn’t care less and were busy checking their mobiles all the time. Most did not notice a potential customer couple walk in. Imagine you asking for a test drive and car wouldn’t start. They advice to us was to just look the inside of the car. Looked good. Except it does not move. Not even start. Rest everything was fine in the car. Compare the other car Showrooms just next door and you’ll know the difference.

I had high hopes for Tata EV cars when I bought one 3 years ago. I'm still using it. Love the drive comfort. but had to replace the battery after just 30, 000 km. Breakdowns due to HV errors are common. ( Even in latest models as per ev owners group ) . Tata really needs to improve their battery management system and software. I've been using a BYD for the last 2 years and it's far better and miles ahead than Tata's EVs. I hope Tata learns and improves without forgetting those of us ( Experimental Rats ) who bought early .

This car is really good but I’m a Doctor it’s not for me. I don’t have time to go to service centre daily and spend days waiting for the service and for it to only work for few more days and again car will demand service . I think I can understand because of their futuristic tech they need to service their car every few days. It’s sad for me that I can’t get to experience their futuristic tech. I think I should change my job I really want this safe car so I can feel safe while waiting for the roadside assistance in the middle of the road.

I like the car but hope they provide good battery 60kw minimum and a good price under 17 lakhs
