To answer a few of your queries:

The LMS one didn't run with nameplates, and thus is correct.

The ship plate on 50149 is for Laira Depot (pronounced L-air-a)

50049 was given class 37 bogies and a derated power unit to become a 50/1, 50149. The idea was it would be used on freight, and another batch would be converted. However, it was pretty bad so they cancelled the programme and reverted it to ordinary condition.

50135 was essentially a fictional livery done by the class 50 alliance as a "what if the 50/1 was successful" thing

50008 wasn't the only one to carry Departmental blue, but I can't remember the other 2 that did. I think though that only 008 was in the pack for that livery, as that is what it is most known as. It also can have Hanson Rail stuff on it, like it is at the moment

You are correct, Intercity was never a true livery, but the C50A put Hood in it, and imo it does look very good

Quite a lot of jubilees were named after British warships also, Repulse and Leanne (Leander) being such examples. The HMS Repulse was a Renown Class battlecruiser, sunk by Japanese torpedo planes in 1941 with the loss of 513 of her crew. The HMS Leander was a Leander class light cruiser.

First off 50006 Neptune was never in NSE livery, so anyway Intercity livery was in preservation only so no they did not run in this on BR. The DP2 power unit was proven in the class 40 but with modifications to it as a 16csvt version or the 16cvt power unit.
As stated, bellow there were 3 Laira or departmental liveried 50's 50019 first then for 4 weeks 500037 then 50008 Thunderer for a railtour in 1991. I am not sure if it was the lighting but 50007 Sir Edward Elgar in mock GWR livery had cast brass name, number and arrows not chrome, also you looked at 7 in GBRf livery not blue previous to this. the 149 was for this loco only yes on the front it was a blue 9 as that was done by a fitter, the later Loadhaul 50135 was in preservation as a fictional livery, but the sub class was only held by 49 as it was fitted with CP7 class 37 bogies for the period of the trail in Rail Freight triple grey livery so no fleet as such as they deemed the trail a failure.

And class 50s didn't carry intercity

50031 hood was put into intercity livery in 2016 as a fictional livery

Awesome stuff 👍
I’ve got a photo somewhere of at least one 50 in a Inter-City livery. Quite like my local class 47 in the same livery, I reckon it looks good on them.
