As an investor every person want to generate multi bagger return. But majority of people end up losing money rather than creating wealth. Hence, in this video, I have discussed about the best way to invest for long term wealth creation. I have discussed about the strategy to make a balanced portfolio and invest across stocks and mutual fund. I have also discussed about the active vs passive funds and Index vs ETF. Within passive funds, I have explained the concept of regular index fund vs equal weight index fund and ETF. This would give a good clarity to investors who are looking to create wealth in long term. You don’t need 10x return to generate wealth. You just need 12%-15% CAGR for 10-15 years to create wealth. Indian economy is looking strong and their is bright growth prospect for the next 20-30 years. The biggest lesson for wealth creation is to invest systematically with patience. That’s where it is important make a fine balance across stocks and mutual funds and within mutual fund between active and passive funds.

Started investing in 1992 and after wiping off investments on many occasions, i started gaining now. Exactly I follow your way of investment, started with SIP in mutual funds. Now my invested 1cr portfolio is 40% MF & 60% Shares, profit 75% from MF and 25% Shares.

The reason more people don’t retire millionaires is because they are more focused on their short goals and enjoyments than planning for the future. My stocks and crypto portfolio are enough to get me an early retirement.

The golden rule is invest 70% pm in MF for as long as possible (20- 30yrs or more) and rest 30% pm in Blue Chip stocks like Asian Paints, Bajaj Finance, HDFC Bank, Titan, TCS/INFY, Pidilite, Astral, Reliance etc. MF are
1.Mirae Asset Emerging Bl chip DG
2.Parag Parikh Flexicap DG
3. Mirae Tax Saver DG
4. Axis Mid/Small ap DG

I will check once at 5 Pm to see if there is any major fall in any of my stocks. If entire market fell, then no issue with my stock. If not, i will check if there is any specific reason for my stock fall. If there is nothing, then nothing to worry

Hi Sahil, I hold UTI index fund almost 2 yrs. Is it a good idea to redeem and invest in Equal weighted index fund. Because I can invest in either one only. Please share your thoughts.

Excellent session to investors to add wealth in consistent compounders as well as active & passive funds. Index traded ETF as well as equal weight Index 50 are of interest.

Sir, I am a follower of your videos. Please tell me, what do you think, if covid not occurred, does sensex goes from 40000 to 60000 within this short duration ? If not what is the main reason behind it ? Does retail investors are incurring a great loss ahead ?

Equal weight index funds have a higher expense ratio, it does not justify the additional alpha it generates compared to a plain vanilla index funds. 10-year rolling returns of equal weight index have lower than the Nifty 50 since 2013!!

Hi Sahil, I like the idea of your to pick a good company enter first and do sip ever month and in correction buy more . Fundamental good company with good return will not come at discounted rate, this way fear of missing and in correction we will not panic to sell.

I found this strategy useful. Some times just because stock has run up 2x etc we miss a entry. Each one of us might have found good stock and waiting for correction but this didn’t happen and stock moved up and miss to buy. Once u make entry based on analysis stick to it buy in dips
