Hailey, what I do with big books. Just read a chapter or 2 everyday. While reading your other book or books. It will take longer to read the large book but it will get there. I usually focus on the bigger book before bed. Always worked for me.

I needed to put my books in storage for 7 month and wanted to minimize the amount beforehand. I went through all of them and got rid of maybe a hundred. Then I went through all of them again and a third time as well and with each time I got harsher. In the end I unhauled over 300 books.

I did the same once before when I moved out of my parents house. That time I unhauled over 700 XD

So my tipp for everyone trying to minimze is: go through all of them multiple times. It really helped me to only keep the ones I really wanted to.

I like unhauls better than hauls. I love to think that the books that you own you have it because you really love it or want to reread it, not like other people here on YouTube that they just buy and buy in extreme consumerism.

I am older than you and was already an adult when a lot of Sarah Dessen’s books came out, but I really love them. I believe some of hers are being made into a Netflix show or movie soon. They are great summertime reads!
