NanoPi R6S Bootup - Firmware Update (eMMC) - PPPoE Speedtest

The network ports of the NanoPi R6S are not working when testing with the pre-installed FriendlyWrt firmware, that is why I have to to update the firmware to the latest release.
In this video, I will show you how to install/update the FriendlyWrt into the eMMC storage with a microSD. After that, we are going to bootup the NanoPi R6S, have a tour at LuCI Web UI and check out the PPPoE throughput with Software Offloading enabled and disabled.

@VanTechCorner ifconfig does not show eth2, iplink does not show eth2, when i run lspci it shows only the 1gb and one of the 2.5GBe controllers, do you know what I can try?

which is the correct way to upgrade an already installed version, to a newer one? I mean, i'm at 22.03 of may 10 on r5s, there's now a may 24 new img, but i think that flashing it via microsd will remove all my settings... ok, i can do a backup and restore, but this is not the way openwrt works on other platforms... you can just upload a sysupgrade firmware, usually, is friendlyarm providing any of them? thanks!

Hello, I have a 2.5Gb wired connection between my RTL8125B chip 2.5Gb ethernet card and Nano Pi R5S on my computer. According to iperf3 results, I see 2.37Gb connection speed between the two in my tests. However, my disk connected via usb 3.0, which I have opened for sharing with samba4, which I have installed Openwrt, is between 70-80 megabytes for file copying and downloading. According to iperf3 test speeds, shouldn't I reach at least 250 megabyte file copy speed per second? By the way, I am using the image. Could it be due to this image? Where should I check? Thanks.

Hi, I bought one of these and for some reason it only boots up Android when it’s both plugged in power and plugged into my PC? It only shows FriendlyElec logo & then reboots over and over unless I plug the usb connecting to my pc in. Any idea why?

A couple of questions about this device/software. Does it date and time stamp the packages, and can it give data throughput reports on the up and downloads to the ISP internet on a calendar basis? Will it handle the ISP max speed of 900Mb/s? I cannot install Openwrt on the ISP owned modem, but I was thinking of putting one of these devices in front of it, (in series with it) to measure the GB throughput in the billing period. They claim that I put 1, 760.00GB of UPLOAD through their modem in 5 days. (more than is on all my devices) That is more than in the previous 3 years, of about 0.4GB per day average. I need to be able to call them on this garbage.
