just thought id let you know, if you use the mic adapter instead of media mod, you can take the battery out of the gopro and run an external battery pack (5v 2a) and get virtually unlimited time (i have a 37, 000 mah battery compared to gopro's 1750)

Thanks! The mic placement worked perfectly. I was trying to connect my Rode Wireless GO II to my GoPro. But it doesn't work, the level from the receiver mic was too hot. So I just plugged the mic straight in like you did, and it worked so much better with no clipping. Thanks again.

I have a shoei too. That tip about the hook mount is an important one. I tried out a regular GoPro mount on my GT AIR 2, would not go back any further. Didn’t help that I had a small rig for my mic. Get that hook mount, they work great

Right on for the info I just started a channel for my 2024 zx10r and got the rf1400 and the go pro but had a bad view on my first video so watching this helped me get the right stuff for the future videos!

Great video. I was looking for audio set up. I was thinking about the Rode wireless ME, it’s pretty bulky … but has two mic’s.

One tip for the ISO (I’m a photographer) try max ISO 1600 for better quality and less distortion. 👍🏼

Also people - use the tether that comes with the chin mount. After a season of heavy riding the adhesive will likely fail and the tether will save your GoPro!

I have a Ducati 1098 and all the gear u mentioned minus the media mod and mic which I just bought. Always been a dream of mine to make bike and car content and make a living doing it. Only thing I need to learn is editing which seems like it’ll be hard. I know the apps make it real easy to edit regualr clips but the switching bewtween shots is what I gotta learn. Can’t wait to get started

You can either buy a Media mod for audio of the USB C to Aux adapter that gopro sells, Its about $50 and any orther adapter wont work!

I actually thought you were using something other than a GoPro with the crisp quality I've been seeing on this channel you really know what you're doing hope to see other motovloggers use the GoPro 11

Fantastic, I've been lookin for a simple set up for my hero 9 black. All I need is the mic. Where did you get the sock for your mic?
Thanks for the easy way to set up. This is PERFECT 👍

All great stuff. Why isn't there a 90 degree port cable. It would be a better connect. That Rodes to keep all these bikes from filming too low drives me crazy, so thank you much!
