I'd rather have John Stockton than J Kidd. Period. He is legitimately the BEST PG to ever play. He has what, 5000 more assists than Kidd? 2.5 K more steals? An amazing shooter? Absolutely BEDROCK tough? Dude played on the dream team with a BROKEN LEG. And never missed a minute. Still scored, still led in assists, and got a gold medal, on a BROKEN LEG. missed less than 12 games in his entire career. Whole career. I'd take Stockton over literally anyone at that position. His ability to provide scorers with assists is literally unmatched. Nobody has even come close. The degree of separation between his record and the second place in and of itself is an entire all-star careers difference. He is arguably the greatest player to never win a ring in the entire HISTORY of the NBA. Of any position. Kidd is great. Stockton is 1 of 1. He is unique. His record might not EVER be broken. Ever.
