Judas was replaced in Acts, like you said. Also for sure there's a special place for Paul, Barnabas, Magdalene, etc. Moses Joshua, Abraham, Rahab, Elijah, and many others. " In my Father's house there are many mansion." Jesus. Much love, always!😊

I think my favorite thing about God and our human history, the people who where the closest to God all still made mistakes and fell short. But does that stop God from loving us and still using us us for his glory? No! He still loves us the same he always has. What a great God we serve!

One thing about Matthias though, is that he was mentioned only once in Scripture in the casting of the lot for the missing twelfth position and was not mentioned ever again Acts 1:23-26.

However, Paul was hand-picked by the Lord Jesus Himself on the road to Damascus (one of the requirements of being an Apostle). From then onward he was called an Apostle and was greatly used by God.

So, Paul should be the twelfth to replace Judas since Matthias was chosen by men. Sometimes our intentions are good, however they may not fit into God's will for us. But God is gracious and there is no record in the Word of God reprimanding them for their misstep. He just moved on with His will and intentions.

Whoa.... stretching it here. But, since Christianity is simply the Jewish version of the common Mystery Religions of the day (and, Christianity is simply historical fiction), anything Jesus "said" is irrelevant.

All "12" tribes of Israel. Depending on the author, either Levi or Joseph were left off of the list of tribes. The Hebrew scriptures aren't consistent with themselves. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Well, a book, that could have been monkeyed with, says that jesus foreknew that. I seriously doubt that it's true just because your holy book says so.
The number 12 is significant hey?? Kinda like how spilling the blood of animals and people is to your god. Ooohh, how about the holy number 7? You forgot that one.
