Hi babes. What’s happening is that the glow recipe and the milk are silicone free (check Sephora) and the one size primer has dimethicone (silicone) so when you put silicone over something silicone free it pills and has issues. Always check the product ingredients. I’ve found some of the products I thought were shite were actually reacting with my skincare. (My sunscreen had dimethicone and my foundation was silicone free) once I matched both ingredient types it totally changed how I felt about the products. 😊❤ they worked so much better.

girl, the glow recipe bha blur drops are truly making a difference, because i could instantly see your face look brighter and smoother before you added anything else. i need to try the milk primer and setting spray, and i think you look amazing after your wear test. you definitely found some gems!!! i’m obsessed with the revlon foundation. i’ve been loving it since it released. this was so much fun!!! 💚💚💚

Did they test this product before releasing? The piling… maybe it needs more time to set before going in with foundation or maybe not use the Glow recipe and using another moisturizer.

I think the base of the primer is different than the base of the foundation 😂 I had a similar experience when I tried using milk hydro grip under the Huda beauty faux filter foundation! I thought the one size primer was gonna be a dupe for the danessa myricks balm but it just looked like a lot of claims for average results, have you ever used danessas balm?! I’m extremely oily and live in a hot and humid area, it’s the only product that I don’t get shiny at all with! Its as if it deactivates my oil production lol. I’m sure it will give you better results than both these milk and one size matte primers 😊

Allie - I think the drops are really working well on your skin! Before the primers/before you put it on, your skin looked so smooth and gorgeous!

Was wondering about this.. on IG when I saw Patrick demo.. I asked if we can use the blur primer with it and the response was yes...use the tube primer first...agree was weird how the sponge was picking up..hopefully you will be able to use less product and maybe that will also help with the pilling...agree on the milk products excited with products geared to us oily or combo skin types...

I have super oily skin and the colorstay foundation is my holy grail for years, its the number one foundation for oily skin from the drugstore 😊

Funny that I saw this video, I have very oily tzone. And the only things that works on my skin is the milk setting spray before i put make up on. And the one size setting spray at the end of my make up. Holds up all day!! 👏🙌

Maybe coz you added a bit too much product with the One Size primer and it needed a bit more of a dry down time?
It did look like a bit too much product.

Also, what do you do to your skin right before the Glow Recipe serum and how long do you let the skin prep sit before applying primer?

I know that with some primers I have to let them sit for a good 5 mins before applying makeup and my skincare prep I leave for a good 10 plus minutes and don't use moisturiser under my foundation when doing skin prep for makeup on oily skin, and after skin prep but before makeup, I also dab my face with tissue to pick up any excess moisture and then add primer and makeup after that - just an idea for you of you've not tried this already or for anybody in general that reads this comment.

Robert Welsh has some amazing tips for applying makeup and doing skin prep for oily skin. He also shows you how to apply powder foundation in a way that works and makes it look good. E.g. the Maybelline SuperStay or Sephora powder foundations.

P.S. loving the face with only a little oil compared to how you sometimes are at the end of the day. This looked really good and I'll be trying the One Size primer when it hits Australia and the Milk Makeup spray. As I have the other products already.
I wonder if the Milk side was better due to the powder combo? I wonder what would happen if you used the One Size powder only or just used the combo only? As I know how well the Kim Chi powder works to contain oils and I love it, so wondering if that had a bit to do with the Milk being a bit ahead of One Size? 😊😊

Yeah youryour skin held up way better than i have ever seen it when it comes to the oil. Normally we can see the oil come thru so quick and so thick. But u look amazing after 12 hrs oil wise! Wow! Great job!!

Omg, FINALLY!!
The only 2 things I can think of with the P* side was that too much was used, because it all came flying out of the tube. You had no choice. The second thing is that the foundation is a water base, but I don't know that for sure? I'm just shooting ideas out there, but in the end it was a total success!!🎉🎉🎉

Off topic! Just got my Ofra “Scoops” Omg it’s so heavy! So much product I’m blown away! Btw…ur brows…I ordered the Beauty Trio brow kit with the stencils….and a “flick” pen for making fine hairs….IT WORKS!!! I just stamp those babies right on there..turn it around, clean and do the other side….❤ it!!!

One size has a matte beauty balm base product available..milk makeup used to have a loose setting powder. Maybe it was discontinued though..
