New suspension systems are being developed for the MagArrow to improve flight stability for UAV-magnetics. For this flight test a pair of horizontal 2' carbon-fiber tubes were attached horizontally to the belly of the MagArrow. The suspension cables were then attached to the ends of the bars rather than the standard attachment points on the MagArrow, which are much closer together.

This attachment scheme improves the flight stability of the MagArrow noticeably by reducing oscillating roll after turns and also helping to dampen out movement during and after turns much quicker. With the ultra-long flight time of the Perimeter 8 UAV by Skyfront (5+ hours), a horizontal platform like this that the MagArrow is attached will improve data quality and could allow for larger batteries with the MagArrow to be used for longer flight times.
