There is no glory in hell! The Ukraine has been nothing but hell. Nothing to brag about! The Ukraine fighters have been used as cannon fodder and 12 battalions have refused to fight for the Ukraine! There is no hope in failure!

As a neutral observer, here is my question to all my American friends:

When USA unilaterally, and without provocation, attacked Iraq (no WMDs were ever found, which was the excuse to invade) and Afghanistan (bin Laden was later found and killed in Pakistan, a US "ally", and Taliban didn't even have him, which was the excuse to invade) for FAR more tenuous reasons than what used by Russia to invade Ukraine, Russia did not intervene or supply their own (considerably sophisticated) missiles or weapons to aid the local resistance by Iraqis or Taliban.

So why is USA so hell bent on portraying Putin as evil, when his actions weren't half as blatantly against international law as what the previous US presidents like Bush Jr (He even let it out himself in a Freudian slip of the millennium from his hurt conscience recently) did for basically no other reason than to economically boost the military-industry complex in USA? Why does US want to spend its taxpayers money as weapons to Ukraine, a country that 99% of your population cannot even locate on a world map? What does US hope to achieve with this escalation of war when the conclusion (given the imbalance in military strength is like US invading Mexico and latter having a chance of a snowflake in hell) is foregone? Why does innocent children in other places have to die to fuel US foreign policy that dictates to find excuses to funnel enormous amounts of taxpayer revenue to its defense sector (basically a hopper for giving billions upon billions upon billions each year to defense contractors and an extravagant military that still got humiliated by a bunch of cavemen in Afg) instead of using to eradicate domestic issues such as a fractured healthcare system, unaffordable college education costs etc?

Had it not been for US support, Ukraine would have surrendered, world would have moved on from this nasty war and thousands (including women and children, who are being deliberately used as human shields in deplorable political tactics by the former professional clown being propped up by the west as their puppet, like in Mariupul steel factory - the Russians showed remarkable patience to let as many civilians out as possible before leveling the place - by comparison, the US leveled everything including homes with innocent children during their chaotic surrender and withdrawal from Afg allowing indiscriminate use of deadly force by wannabe cowboys/ keyboard warriors playing Rambo - as if like a first person shooter videogame - showing utter disregard for human life from the comfort and security of their AC drone control rooms in Arizona) getting killed or disabled each day. It is NOT Putin who is prolonging the war, it is the USA and the west. It is perhaps better for them to broker peace with Russia in return for a peace treaty with NATO that prevents any further future expansion of NATO in return for Russian assurance to annex no more Soviet-era states to its western border, or threaten Finns or Swedes.

The reason for their hubris is the perceived NATO support, even though they are NOT a NATO nation. Declare that NATO will stay out of this business between two former soviet states, and I will bet within an hour Ukraine will wave the white flag and accent an unconditional surrender, which they would have already had it not been for the billions in aid and sophisticated weapons from the west. Please note here that the eventual outcome is certain, even the USA has declared it is just a matter of giving the Russians a "bloody nose" at the expense of Ukranian blood. It is like watching two brothers fight and throwing money at one to keep fighting only since (a) you have endless buckets of money you want to throw at your defense sector for making and exporting weapons to stimulate domestic economy predicated on your military industrial complex and (b) that makes you feel good by schadenfreude. In love and war, what one wants is limited to what one's choices are.

USA is supporting and injecting money into the war for escalating it (like throwing gas into a fire) precisely to hurt Russia for its overall strategic reasons. It is like you find a chum getting bullied by your arch enemy, and you give the chum to go fight that bully. It is a win-win for you - if the chum gets whacked, it is his blood that is spilled. If the chum gives the bully a bloody nose before getting whacked, well that is still money well spent. It is not the chum's power, he is just nothing more than a proxy. At the end of the war, Ukraine will still surrender, lots of US tax payer money would go to Zelinsky and his corrupt ex-govt that would get plum asylums in USA where he plans to spend the rest of his life as a billionaire after he has played his part to appease his boss US, and hundreds of thousands of Ukranians and tens of thousands of Russian soldiers would have died for no reason but for US's throwing money at it for their own vested interest to prolong the blood shed.

PS. I am not a Russian supporter. I am just someone that wants to see the end of this war and political stability and peace in Ukraine. I do admit that I am neither from the area nor have ever been there personally, that said however I have several coworkers and friends who are from all of these nations. I am very familiar with Russian culture and I do think they are a great culture and proud nation. They are NOT evil as portayed by USA since cold war. Stalin was evil of course, but one evil leader does not maketh a country evil. Germany is not evil just because they had Hitler in power once upon a time.

I advocate the view of respect for all cultures and civilization and nonviolence. I come from India and I follow these Gandhian principles, from the father of our nation.

My belief from talking to my friends intensely familiar with the situation is that Crimea actually developed exponentially since the 2014 annexation and its local tourism and economy has really boomed. Many Ukranians welcome Russian invasion expecting better governance, and also since they have roots in the Soviet era brotherhood with Russia.

For me personally, I don't care. I just want lower gas prices and stop seeing news about innocent children getting killed or displaced each day. I do believe the quickest path to end war is for NATO to cease escalation, as I dont see likely Putin accepting defeat and withdrawing, as that would mean loss of his personal halo, legacy and respect in Russian domestic politics that he would NEVER accept. It is sort of like the American civil war. European nations stayed out of it. But if they wanted to recolonize America by divide and conquer, they could have aided the South with tons of munitions and watched from afar, as USA is doing to Ukraine now. Do you think that would have been good for US history?

Thousand lives could be spared if he surrendered but he will suck on that for rest of his life. Or he chooses to resisted, many dead and many will b. He and his team may seemed earned the glory of defender. VERY HARD CHOICE either way, , ,
