As a supreme julian i already use this build i recommend using it as a side laner or as the jungler cause this build enables you to buys 2 def so you can play more of cc and slow jungler instead of dmg but if you're the mid laner or your team is lacking dmg i recommend using his normal build

Great build IMO to somewhat revert the nerfs in some ways. But one thing i'd suggest is changing the Genius Wand to Glowing Wand, simply because his skills really benefitted from the item (also good when facing tankier enemies)

Its more if you want to spam his skills than using his enhanced basic attacks, and also more for utility by just poking. Its more of a playstyle preference so if u want to play julian being able to poke more and annoy enemies than 45% cdr build is for you while his regular dmg build if u want to utilize both his skills and enhanced BA to melt enemies

I used to build him that way, before all of his nerfs

Right now, burst build is still the best way to play him, and also to maximize his kit, using combos and then finishing it with one basic attack

Julian 2nd skill works well with Genius Wand and Glowing Wand

My personal build: Magic Shoes, Genius Wand, Glowing Wand, Calamity Reaper, Feather of Heaven, BFB/Immortality/ Winter Truncheon/Blood Wings

I use that from the begining. Julian power is in his skill, so CD is priority...😁

After watching his Hero Spotlight I think CDR build is the optimal choice. I might buy him so I could finally use a male sidelaner

Since the day Julian was released, I've been using this build and haven't changed it since. This build may not give Julian a huge burst which most Julian main use, but it gives Julian more sustainability and poking ability wich still gives decent damage that can compensate for the low burst.

I tried this CRD build to my Julian (before watching this video) and is very effective I mostly got MVP. This build is Moonton's intention that's why they nerf his early-game CD just to try this trick for us.

i havent played ML in 2 months but i used to main julian

i made him semi tank and was racking up MVPs in almost every game (mythic)

-Magic pen boots
-genius wand
-divine glaive
-concentrated energy
-tank item 1
-tank item 2

late game: sell magic pen boots for either immortality or winter truncheon

I used to build him with cdr but after trying full damage it's just not the same. Full damage is way more fun on julian

I think calamity reaper would work more since he uses both skills and basic atk, and he's a dps fighter so burst item like lightning truncheon wouldn't really fit
