I'm a cradle catholic and I'm struggling with our pope and the leaders of mother church. This morning in prayer I asked " lord how can we expect someone to convert to Catholicism if I myself struggle with our church?" Then I stumbled upon your video! I fell to my knees in prayer, Father forgive me for being weak and having doubts! Thank you lord for Keith and Keith and new converts who's love of you give me great strength! And lastly this must have been very important because I've never had an answer to prayer this quickly! God is so good!

I once heard a comment from a person who practices traditional Okinawan Martial Arts. He said, "tradition isn't about keeping alive the ashes of the past. It's about stoking the old fires and seeking what the masters sought".

Greetings from Poland:) it’s really nice and inspiring to hear someone talking about Catholicism with so much passion. As a born catholic in Poland, through you I learn to cherish and to be more grateful for what a gift of faith I was given:)

As a former Protestant I would describe their faith and way of living in Christ as an abstract view of Christianity. While I see Catholicism as a physical, human, and spiritual manifestation of Jesus teaching. It’s the living, present and real essence of Jesus’ church and how he wanted us to live for him and each other.

I feel like Protestantism focuses on what Jesus said while living on earth instead of viewing him as a real-time living savior.

Abstract vs Present

Hey Keith and Keith. Greetings from Indonesian fellow Catholics here. We started Church tradition here initially by the European Colonialist., predominantly Dutch, and in small part of time and place, the Portuguese. Of course The Dutch were predominantly Protestants, until the 18th Century, where the religious freedom is adopted within the Dutch Kingdom, and the Catholic Church gain Her end of formal persecution, and revive...so it is always started by men of tradition. And I am glad..There is always a Men of God...in His Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church

I have not even listened to this video yet but I've read some comments and I want to add one.

I'm a convert to the Catholic Church from Judaism. I was converted by a dream. I fell madly in love with Jesus Christ. He has all the Power and all the Love. He won my heart with His Mercy. That was on March 12, 1990, between 7-8 am. All day I floated on Cloud 9. Wow, Jesus loves me. It was incredible. When I got home from work, I got on my knees and said, "Lord, I'm yours, body and soul. Do whatever You want with me." Then I asked Him to find me my church before Easter. I had no idea where to go, but I knew I couldn't trust myself to make a decision. I let the Lord lead me. He took me to a lot of churches, wherever I was invited. But it wasn't until Good Friday that He took me to my local Catholic parish church, where almost a year and a half later, I was finally received. Baptism, Confirmation, First Holy Communion.

In between I did a lot of studying. I prayed the rosary. I made Holy Hours. I think I learned more sitting at the feet of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament than from all my reading.

Did I have any doubts along the way? When I had questions I couldn't answer, I always went back to the Keys. Jesus gave Peter the Keys. Jesus did not give the Keys to anyone else.

Anything I wanted to understand better, I prayed, and the Lord led me to the right books or documents or people. I have been blessed with so many good Catholic friends, teachers, and mentors. I have absolute confidence in the Teaching Magisterium of the Church. The Church has gone through a lot of turmoil, including once there were three Popes, and one time they even dug up a dead Pope and put him on trial, but the Church is still here, and regardless of all that, the teachings of the Apostles that came straight from Jesus have never been changed. Every other Christian church has changed things, but the Catholic Church holds fast to the Truth. Don't let anything shake your faith. Jesus is the Head of the Catholic Church and He's still in charge.

This is great, and Keith is a natural Catholic. Former protestant ministers make extraordinary teachers of the One True Catholic and Apostolic Faith.

Somehow I missed this episode from a year ago!
I have been listening to Keith Nester for a few years now, which I am grateful for.
Keith Little I have been listening to for the better part of a year. I was introduced to him through "Gospel Simplicity" with Austin Suggs..a Protestant. I am hopeful that Austin will become Catholic...he isn't there "YET"..so pray for him!
Thank you for highlighting some of our beautiful Catholic Traditions that us cradle Catholics can sometimes take for granted! 🌷

Nice. See also Barbara Heil’s conversion as well as Scott Hahn, both Evangelical pastors and became Catholic, and now are just pillars of our Catholic Faith.

This is cool to listen to. The Cordial Catholic was the first Catholic blog that I found. I was fascinated with every single post. It was an important part of my Catholic faith journey. :) Thank you, Keiths!
