The LARGEST Galaxy In The Universe! | IC 1101

Показать описание
The largest currently known galaxy has the generic designation of IC 1101, some 1.045 billion light years from Earth. The nondescript name gives no indication of its incredible size and remarkable features, not to mention what it is hiding in its core.

Hiding is very likely a SLAB, or stupendously large black hole, of gargantuan proportions that may prove to be the largest in the known universe.

Welcome to Factnomenal! In today’s video we look at the largest galaxy ever found and explore its truly incredible features, including its completely out of proportion dark matter content and the supermassive black hole hiding in its center.

100 trillion stars.. can you even start to imagine how many planets must be in that galaxy?! 🤯

Spectacular production values. Great script/narration. Very talented. Sub of course. So glad YouTube algorithm put this in my feed. 😎✌😉

Get the James Webb Telescope on that thing! If it goes without a hitch!🤞 I don't know about anyone else, but I love these kind of videos and I'm quickly becoming obsessed with space and scientific notions like dark matter etc. There's just literally so much to get your head around and discover, theorise and comprehend it's amazing. Everything we know on Earth (with the greatest respect) is nothing, NOTHING compared to the fabric of reality itself that exists out there. I like to often think about how there simply must be intelligent life and civilizations out there somewhere - in existence right now - so vastly different and/ or similar to us. Of course the speed and distance it takes light to get to us renders any discoveries or even hope of communication not relevant in the present moment. Because it would be in the distant past. I know time is relative, but I'm sure (right now😉) there's so much going on out there in places we cannot see or comprehend.

Always wondered how IC1101’s black hole compares to the Phoenix galaxy’s black hole or Ton 618?

He’s definitely right about better names

This galaxy is rediculous! How can people say life doesn't exist outside of our solar system?

Absolutely amazing stuff; when we look up at the stars we still feel the wonder that the first men felt.

Imagine how epic the battles would be if the Warhammer 40k universe was located in this galaxy.

Always stirring up more interest in my daily routine. Totally agree with needing better names for Celestial Objects instead of a long row of numbers and letters. Thank you for your hard work and efforts to educate all of us! 👍🏼

I was planning to move on one of the planet in IC 1101 galaxy but thanks to aliens above i got this recommended .Now I can avoid the big black hole at the center or find a new galaxy.Anyway thanks mate for saving my life.

huh... would make for nice backdrop of an epic sci-fi show! They often don't leave their own galaxies due to even the limits of "FTL" travel, but there, they have a very large playground!

Another amazing video..!! Thank You 'Factnomenal' for share..!! There are something I want to know !!

Most of the stars of IC 1101 are Red Dwarfs, which are not as bright as our Sun. So, why this Galaxy qualifies as BGC ?- (Brightest Galaxy in a Cluster) Is it because the number of stars in this Galaxy is a huge in number ? - (100 trillion) Also, at 8:47 it is stated that, the primordial black holes were not formed from the collapsing stars, then how they were originated ? 🤔

Once again, thank you for the video and Happy New Year to You..!! 💫

Can you imagine being an intelligent race of beings living in that galaxy? Maybe in the outer regions. The things you would see with your technology. Even if they were at exactly our level.

The universe might be a black hole, it expands, so black energy might be an natural force like gravity. Black matter is space-time, as a leftover.

Some theories look like this,
And this is my feeling.

Really makes you question . .
If this is really real then how many human species (most would call them alien) are really out there? How much do they know? Where are they evolutionary wise? Soooo many questions . . Or . . If we're just a small blip in God's brain?
