The amount of times I struggled getting these ram sticks into sockets when I would swap out PC cases, lol. Always felt like I was going to break them because I was so scared to push it down into the Motherboard. Lesson learned, these motherboards like it rough. Don’t be scared, just shove it in there 😂😂

You make it look easy! I have to upgrade my Lenovo Carbon X1 Gen 6 laptop and I am going back to desktop. I am so tired of disposable stuff that needs to be fully replaced every few years. I was looking at the current Dell XPS Tower with liquid cooling and other upgrades. I don't game but I do lots of video recording and editing for work. Thinking 32GB of ram would be better than the 16 I have had. It seems like ordering RAM separately is cheaper than paying Dell... but I am worried I might mess up install? Or is it not so delicate I don't have to fear it?

DDR3 Won't fit into a DDR4 slot. The lining of the notches don't match. In other words they're not backward compatible. If you force it you'll break the slot pins or damage the RAM kit itself. My brother stop misleading people.
