2013-2019 Nissan Sentra B17 MAF Sensor Clean & Replace, Mass Air Flow Sensor Location & Install

The Nissan Sentra was giving me some issues and I decided to pull the MAF and clean it. I did and it was super easy. Also, yes, I have not had anymore issues in the 3 months since I cleaned this. Remember, I am not a mechanic nor do I have any professional vehicular experience. I'm just a dude figuring things out.

Thank you for this video! It was very helpful! My check engine light came on & the code read that it was the mass air flow sensor. After cleaning it myself the check engine light went away. Yay!

Daughters ‘15 Sentra check engine light on.. scanned it and it calls for MAF sensor. $177 but think I’ll try cleaning it off beforehand lol. Thanks for video!

I know your video is old, but other videos I saw said to remove the negative terminal cable on the battery first, what are your thought?

I have the 2015 sentra SV that periodically idles weird, especially on the highway, and it doesn't launch like it used to, like a lost of power, is this what you were experiencing? I was hoping it wasn't actually my transmission, and didn't learn about this sensor until recently

Hey man love your videos, i have this car and same year too. Do you wheres the fuse for the MAF sensor is? I replaced the maf and it just doesnt read at all with my scanner. It just says 0.01 maf. Im thinking maybe its a fuse but idk where it is. I keep getting p0101 maf range error. Thanks! Hoping for a reply and thank you for the video. Like and subscribed!

Does the battery need to be unplugged to replace it?

They sais even if you changed that one, also you have to change the PCV valve
