Is the 2023 Toyota Prius the BEST new compact sedan to BUY?

FIRST LOOK: The Prius & Prius Prime gets a a major redesign & more power from Toyota for 2023. On the outside you will find a wider body, lower roof line, new wheels and full LED lighting. On the inside there is a 12.3in infotainment system, soft-tex, and digital gauge cluster. Powering the Prius you will have two separate choices. The standard Prius will produce 194HP & Prius Prime will produce 220HP. Is the 2023 Toyota Prius the BEST new compact sedan to BUY?

Never in my life did I ever imagine even considering a Prius, but wow! Significant performance upgrade, fuel economy upgrade, styling upgrade, Toyota reliability, luxury features, etc. this feels like a no brainer now 😳

A friend has an older Prius and commutes 20 plus miles to work everyday. She fills up every 2 or 3 weeks. It also has never given her a problem. Other automakers may have hybrids too but Toyota is the one to trust. I’m sure this new one will sell like hot cakes.

Good point about the 40 mile range for the Prime for commuting. Charge it over night and you're ready for the next day's commute. Meanwhile, you can go on a trip without range anxiety.

WOW! The Prius went from laughing stock to actually being desirable. It even looks better than Toyota’s own Crown and is more useful with a liftback! 10/10 on this redesign. I’m now excited for what the upcoming Camry will look like.

Toyota absolutely nailed it with this gen Prius!!! The design is stunning...I still can't believe I actually like a Prius. I'm still not sold on the dashboard layout but overall the interior is leaps and bounds better than all the generations put together. And did I mention that exterior?!! Wowzah!! Looks great!!! NEVER understood Toyotas vision with the Prius. I must say though they hit the nail with this one it's BEAUTIFUL. From the hood to the back is one line making the windshield almost flat. So cool 👍
