Hey Lady, 2 years ago I wanted to plant some tomatoes. I went to the warehouse to buy plants because my seeds got rained out. They only sell by the box. There are 400 in a box. I thought about selling them but that's a hassle, so I planted all 400. What a mess. You know people nowadays are so lazy they wouldn't even come pick them for free. Did fatten up the hogs though. We canned over a hundred quarts. About 80 quarts of jalapeños. Chopped and froze bell pepper. Picked okra, pickles. We do it all. By the way, peppers can be picked anytime. The taste and heat will change with each cooler change. I want a greenhouse, I love in Florida and boxes or even outside gardening is a coin toss. Love you're videos. Ps.I also keep 23 hives. Started out with 2 and split from them and bought a few queens, as some of my bees are very aggressive. And learning something old is what the last few generations have not done. Bee Happy

I really adore the Cherokee purples. They have such a unique design. I've been hunting for some seeds lately.. Thanks for sharing these beauties with us! It's so gorgeous in there with all those plants making an isle of greatness & beauty 😊.. You're so right, that is definitely my kind of grocery shop🍅🌱

Happy Belated Birthday, and sorry to hear about your son. I hope he heals quickly. My wife and I also have a HUGE tomato crop as well. We're going to make a cucumber/tomato salad soon.

Really appreciate your garden tour (and your candor). It sort-of cool to participate this year in "global" garden tours virtually. Had to cope with 100kg of grapes last week. Not something I ever expected to have to cope with. Darn these 1st world challenges ;)

Thats my type of grocery shopping too! I cut my tomatoes up and freeze them, not sure if its a good or bad thing but when I have a slow cooker meal that require tomatoes I dump in a bag. I made a few Salsa ferments and on August 21st I get to sample them and see if it tastes good. I wanted to learn to can this year but the equipment for canning seems to have disappeared from the stores.
