Critics dismiss UK report claiming 'little evidence' exists of institutional racism

The authors of a British government race report who suggested there was “little evidence” of institutional racism in the UK have responded angrily after days of criticism from campaigners.

The UK's commission on race and disparities has hit back at activists who condemned the report as divisive and issued a strongly worded statement defending its work and accusing some of misrepresenting the report.

The 258-page report made 24 recommendations but was criticised for concluding the claim the UK is still institutionally racist was not supported by the evidence.

UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson set up the investigation to examine racial disparities in the nation in response to Black Lives Matters protests last Summer.

A woman in a powerful position in a university bleats on un-ironically about 'power and privilege'.

Oh dear the critics didn't like the independent report because it debunks the myth.

That’s what these people want. To be a victim of their own fantasies.

The only "RACISIM" here only comes from one direction... the one shouting about it the loudest... rest of us are just saying " what are you on about???"

Years from now, the guys who didn't take the knee and give a fist salute won't have to explain themselves.

So what do they want, another inquiry that delivers the verdict they'd want to hear? I left school about 20 years ago, I'd say a 1/3rd of my year group was black; there weren't really any issues because this victim / oppressor mentality hadn't taken root in the media.

Taking the knee is not an "international symbol of fighting racism" - it is the international symbol of bowing to fascism

As an Asian, I'm using this time to benefit my own life and reap whatever opportunities I can find whilst everyone is bitching, moaning and groaning. It's worked wonders, an open field to benefit my life with no competition. Easy gain. Respect to anyone who couldn't care less for the politics and just focuses on making themselves the best person they can be.

Pretty much everyone is sick of this stuff at the minute, ever since they've been declaring this and that is "ist" the divide between people has gown larger. Normal people who have never been racist towards anyone are starting to get tired of this and it's going to further divide us as a people.

Tbh I live in the UK and racism has been at the forefront this last year but what we really need to be worried about is the rise in black supremacy and anti white racism
