First class compartment in the regional traffic of the ODEG in the north of Germany. We tested the route from Binz auf Rügen to Stralsund for you. The trains were very clean inside and the staff was very, very friendly. These seats look very high quality. There is even a small snack bar on board.

The ODEG is a private railway company and with currently 50 trains we are on the road in Germany on a total of 13 lines with a total length of around 1,294 km. (Source: ODEG website 03/2022)

Conclusion: A positive first class experience on a regional railway route.
