Hello David, did you make any video explaining how to obtain the amount of energy dissipated by the element? I mean here the term My * fi (curvature) gives you a force unit result if I'm not wrong, it seems to me that you have to also define a length in which integrate the expression right?

Nice video. What about cyclic loading? What do you consider "absorbed energy" when you have cyclic loading? The dissipated energy is clear: the area enclosed by the hysteresis loop. The absorbed energy seems a bit more ambiguous to me.

I I need to find  formulas for predicting stresses or forces passing through a material based on material properties that can be relatively easily measured or predicted. REALLY IMPORTANT. Thanks in advance!
