How to use the Countifs function to count multiple items based on a date range in Microsoft Excel. This is a Microsoft Excel tutorial covering, Countifs, named ranges and the Today() function. The tutor starts off by explaining how the Countifs function works and demonstrates it on an example. The tutor then recreates the example, naming both columns and setting a small criteria table up. Once the table is set the tutor uses the countifs function to count all completes within the last ten days and all the overdue within the last ten days.

Hi, if I have a range of dates (say from the year 2020 till 31/12/2022) and a list of projects that started within that range and their cost. How can I use COUNTIF or IFS to find the projects that started in a specific month (January for Example) with that range of dates and the Sumif to count the cost?
