Basim in Valhalla seems like a different character than Basim in Mirage especially cuz of the completely different voice

In Valhalla, during the Cent arc, if you stay away for a bit while joining Basim and Cynebert in Folcanstan, you can catch a conversation between the two that gives more confirmation on Basim's religious views and it goes something like

Cynebert : You must try my ale, you must ! My abbey brews the best in Cent
Basim : [sarcastically] It certainly sounds worth the risk of my immortal soul
Cynebert : Ah, your God is rather a hard taskmaster ?
Basim : And your God forbids the mixing of wool and linen. It sounds to me like he's never heard of England

I think its kinda messed up how loki took him over. He really was his own person, and loki ruined him. Every other norse reincarnation was able to coexist with their original persona, or refuse their existence like eivor eventually did with odin.

I am just he turned out to be an antagonist and was defeated easily by eivor in Valhalla
I wished he defeated eivor and stayed the protagonist

I think im mirage you obviously see him become loki but in valhalla when you beat him you also kill loki so now it is only basim left
