The Cascades ~ Rhythm of The Rain (1962)

This song by "The Cascades" was released in 1962 and was a top 5 hit here in the UK ,and this song was also used in the soundtrack of the 1979 film Quadrophenia and was included in its soundtrack album. Could not get many good pictures of The Cascades so i used a few pictures from my collection of pop art which i have many of,from album covers,to photos, to posters,to magazines,and my collection is getting quite large now and i am always adding to it.

I listened to this song way back in 1963 at a friend's house, and would go to visit him whenever I wanted to hear it. Now 57 years later, I'm still listening, and loving this beautiful song. I'm old man now at 71, and sadly, that friend passed away a few years ago.

When I was a teen, I had a small portable record player. My family vacationed in the Adirondack Mountains of New York. I distinctly remember playing "Rhythm of the Rain" on that record player in a quaint charming cabin between Upper Jay, New York and Lake Placid.

It's funny how songs can create lasting impressions of people, places, and experiences.

I enjoyed this old song. When I cannot find enough pictures, I sometimes add dancing pictures of the period. I enjoyed the memories of the sixties.
