Nice, I’m going to try this method this coming year. I’ve got lots of used hay and manure from my barn. I’m in a high desert are where temps get 100+ in mid summer. Only question is how do you water? Do you use sprinkler, drip, or just let the hose run on them. Also how much, keep it moist all the time without molding? Thanks for the video..👍

Hello sir, do u make a hole in the soil or do u plant just on top of the soil your potatoes? Also could u tell me which other crops's shoots can poke through hay? Thanks alot!

Im using the same method. We have hard Ozark Red clay. potatoes will not grow in it, However they grow well on top of it using this method,

how do you prevent the hay from blowing away in the wind?

Do you compost your old hay or just straight from the lean-to? Looking to get some potatoes into the ground soon. Did you do anything special for the soil or could I go straight into the native soil with fertilizer?
