Jessi was a part of my childhood. I watched mythbusters and overhaulin plenty, and whenever Jessi was on screen, she knew what she was talking about, and was determined to get things done. I love the fire she always shine on other's on the show and to the viewers. She constantly pushed the limits.

Thank you Jessi, for doing what you love, for setting limits then breaking them and climbing higher, for burning bright no matter what is going on. Rest in peace Jessi

"Jessi is someone who got rid of obstacles in front of her and left a trail of enthusiasm behind her." Well said, Adam.

I remember watching Jessi on Extreme 4x4 when it was still on Spike TV. First I thought they just found a cute girl to add a little eye candy to the show. Then I saw her mad welding skills, wow, this girl was awesome. I remember the episode where they were building a buggy with a ton of welding because of all of the cross bars in the frame and cage. She wasn’t feeling that great at the beginning of the shoot, but continued working her tail off. There was a jump cut in the filming and they announced that she had to leave after several hours of welding because she was just feeling so bad. I can vividly see the image of her telling the camera she didn’t feel good, she looked so tired, but still so damn cute. They then told us that she had an appendicitis and was doing well after the surgery. That cemented my administration of that fine young lady.

Everything she did, she gave it her all. Her fabrication skills, her racing, and her amazing TV presence were all top notch and she always had time for her fans. My heart felt condolences and prayers go out to her family and friends, their loss can only be imagined by those of us who were her fans. Thank you Jessi for being you, rest in piece, you are now the fast female angel.

I watched her on spike tv. I thought of her as any other cast member that I liked on my little Saturday morning tv show. It's it's amazing to find out how far her inspiration was felt.

She was so incredibly talented. The seasons of MB that she was on were some of the most build-centric and technical and I loved them.

OMG just saw this and I had no very sad that jessi has passed away, I remember her on MythBusters and she was a bubbly ray of sunshine but also obviously a very capable person I guess when your time is up the very best you can hope for is to leave this world doing whatever you love doing.love to her friends and family....she really rocked.

Jessi was awesome and inspirational to say the least. About 10 years ago, I emailed her about something she was working at the time and she was really kind and informative about it while taking time out of her busy schedule to talk.
Drive in peace Jessi.

It's silly I know but when you watch a show religiously for almost 20 years the characters feel almost like family,
Jessie was so full of enthusiasm, drive & motivation & a most welcome addition to myth-busters her persona was simply infectious.
The type of girl that you would definitely be smiling if she was your girlfriend.
To me she was like a female version of Steve McQueen.
Sincere heartfelt condolences to all of Jessie's Family & friends & all that were close to her.
God bless you Jessie Combs! RIP.

Such an awesome incredibly amazing woman. It’s a sad loss as she is someone for my daughters to look up to for inspiration. A perfect example that there’s nothing to stop a little girl from just doing what makes you happy no matter the goals you have set.
