really great video, explains both perfectly. I personally prefer Topstep bc I really dislike APEX trailing drawdown on unclosed profits, it’s screwed me over many times even when my win/loss ratio was good

Another advantage over Apex is the no intro day trailing draw down and if you're a really good traitor, you get transferred to a real live CME market and at that point you're trading live and you can open up an LLC for tax purposes. This is why I say top step is better, their customer service and discord don't waste your time. Just go with top step.

You did not mention fees tho. If I am not mistaken, APEX has a monthly fee once you pass the challenge. Or a bigger one time fee. Topstep is a smaller one time fee.

I’ve been making a lot of losses trying to make profit trading. I thought trading on a demo account is just like trading the real market. Can anyone help me out or at least advise me on what to do?

Let me make this clear the number one reason Apex has such cheap reevaluation. Reset fees is because that's their number one way of making money besides copy trading the good traders. The intraday down is a joke and I would never trade under those conditions

I Love Apex but that's because I have 20 Pro accounts so like today, I only made $150 or $3K but on Top step I only get 3 accounts and so if I have a 1 time profit, I am forced to keep trading to get over $200 to have a qualifying day! Plus once you start getting paid, you don't need to be paid out weekly!

Correct me if I’m wrong: say I am very good at my 50k account, and now it’s 60k balance. And I did very bad today, I lost 4k. now the end of day balance is 56k. If Apex account, it’s still alive. Because my trailing drawdown stop at 53k, so I am above threshold. But for my Topstep account, my end of day drawdown is more than 2.5k, so I fail my account. Correct?

Topstep it is, Apex have that stupid 30% consistency rule and without discount code APex is expensive.
