JOEY GRACE PLAYING LASER HARP FOR THE FIRST TIME

Seeing a laser harp in person is like seeing a magical unicorn! They are eye-catching, fun, and unique... and I feel so happy to own one.

Famous musician Jean-Michel Jarre uses laser harps at his concerts. Laser harps have been used in public art installations and music shows around the world for many years.

In 2008, Maurizio Carelli, an Italian software and electronic engineer, had the idea of a bi-color (red and green) laser harp. This device features a full octave with both diatonic and chromatic notes. Green beams indicate diatonic notes and red ones mark chromatic notes.

I am happy to have purchased my laser harp from Maurizio Carelli. He was excellent at communicating with me throughout the process.

This looks so cool Joey and sounds fantastic. The multi-talented musician Todd Rundgren did a similar keyboard themed project in the 1990s for his live shows. My friend Jeff saw the UK leg of the tour and said it was amazing. I am sure some footage can be found on here for you to watch him in action.
