There are many great affordable brands out there: The Inkey List, Good Molecules, Geek & Gorgeous or pixi skincare to name a few of my favorites, and if you know how to combine them, you are well on your way to healthy and happy skin.
Healthy and happy skin does not mean "flawless" - whatever that might be. I have been struggling with acne, hyperpigmentation and postinflammatory erythema (PIH and PIE) for most of my adult life, and it took me a while to figure out that gentle is key. I went through a retinol damaged skin barrier, acne flare ups and sun damage until I finally reached my happy place: With Tretinoin, sunscreen and of course a red lipstick!

Ah, interesting. I recently switched from the Ordinary's Niacinamide serum to the Inkey List's one...simply because the former was sold out at the time. And I was wondering, why it didn't seem to work as well (I mainly use it for oil reduction). I completely overlooked the fact, that the latter doesn't have zink.
Will check out that sunscreen. Still hunting for an affordable, non greasy one for everyday wear. So far, the LRP Shaka Fluid is my favorite, but it's darn expensive. I usually avoid anything 'anti-aging' because of my oily skin, but if you say, it's hydrating, rather than 'rich', I'll give it a try 🙂

I bought Avene’s intense protect sunscreen with their new Triasorb filter today. I find it interesting that they claim the filter can absorb some high energy visible light. But it is a grease slick! It is like I covered my face in oil that doesn’t dry down.

Danke für Ihre gut fundierten Videos. Ich kaufe vorwiegend crueltyfree Produkte, dann aber auch gern mal high end. Mich würde ihre Meinung zu den 3 Pflegeprodukten von Shenja interessieren. Sie ist ja so was wie der deutsche Guru der Inhaltsstoffe, deshalb interessiert mich natürlich ganz speziell, was sie so auf den Markt geworfen hat.
