The modern meaning of patience #Short

When our emotions take over, we tend to react to the pain or frustration that a situation may be causing us. 🤯

How many of us have had the experience of reacting first and then realizing that our reaction was invalid because we misinterpreted the situation?
We don't pause to listen, ask questions, or consider the other person's actions before reacting.
Today, as we enter Shabbat together, I challenge you to think about this. The next time something hurts or frustrates you, pause, breathe, and analyze the action to control your reaction.

Wow I needed this word. I actually had a rapture dream a few days ago and I missed it because I heard myself say I was a complainer! Better to "suffer and bear" now by being patient than to go through the tribulation I guess.

I'm the most impatient person I know 😂😭 I really need to work on that more especially when I'm driving

I was talking to a friend yesterday. I'm going through difficult times, I know GOD, I have a relationship with Him. Why do I still feel anxiety? I know He is faithful, He does not fail, His strategic plans are totally different from ours. I don't mind going through the problem, but it bothers me how I react to the problem. I feel very small, I know who I am in Him. I meditate and think about his promises and how the heroes dealt with moments like this; I have verses that it is my sword, but I'm still nervous. On the other hand, I rejoice that, in the midst of troubles, I feel His love and care for me.

So what you are saying is it’s good to let you children suffer and force them to do things as everyone is God’s child. That sounds like some mother Theresa stuff right there. Easy words to flow out of lives lived of the privileged. Or maybe just talking about rich people problems like having to wait at the salon or traffic. 😂
