This is not true...
The actual reason why he didn't invade India is because when the Persian ruler fled to India which was under the rule of the Delhi Sultanate and the ruler of that time Iltutmish, Iltutmish didn't support the Persian ruler. This was suprising to Genghis Khan as the rulers of that time would often form alliances with other rulers to destroy him. Pleased with this act he never attacked India.

The main reason is climate. Horses were everything for the Mongols, and couldn’t live in India’s tropical climate due to parasites, insects, snakes, crocodiles which severely impact horses. The Mongols originated in freezing climate, had no problem crossing rivers or mountains during any season. So that’s not the main reason. They failed exactly for the same reason in Vietnam. They also failed to conquer Japan due to not having the proper navy and lack of horses, plus typhoons got in the way.

Actually Genghis khan had to solve his own civil war in China which is why he didn't attack the sultanate, nobody knows what would've happened if he entered India
