My parents took me here when I was a child. Hale Farm is why I love visiting spooky old houses today.

We took a field trip here in elementary school and in high school I volunteered for one of their winter events. The place definitely had an eerie vibe about it. Great video, gentlemen.

I grew up there so I know this area very well. The first time I was at Hale Farm was as a third grader in the early 1960's. Back then there was only the Hale home, barn with sheep & cows, a spring that also acted as refrigeration for the meats, a smokehouse for sausage links, blacksmith shop, weaving shop with loom and candle barn. I may have forgotten some but I think I covered the main ones. The Hale family cemetery is located nearby down the road. Even as a third grader, I would feel that something was there watching. I can't say that it was a ghost(s) but I did sense something unseen was there. If anyone has the means to visit this beautiful farm & village, I can't recommend it enough. Thank you for bringing good memories back. It's an incredibly beautiful area. There are plenty of hotels at I-77 and Rt 18 in Montrose which are very close to Hale Farm for those traveling from a distance. Thank you for showing this video. Again it brought back wonderful memories. ☺

He thought it would be easier to take a cow up and down stairs than to milk it himself? I think I would be so annoyed I would haunt the place too!

That was fascinating, thank you! Nice to hear real human narration, and not awkward AI.

I've been to Hale Farm twice when I was a kid. Once on a school field trip & the other time my Aunt took me & her niece who was visiting from Baltimore, Maryland there. I'd very much like to go back there again now as an adult well into her 50's. I think it'd be very interesting especially now that I've seen this episode.

Very interesting. My dad worked here after he retired, I never knew it was haunted.

I miss when Hale Farm ran their Underground Railroad program. I did it once when I was a kid and was terrified by the actors, but now I really wish I could do it again.

Back in the early 2000’s we’d go to the covered bridge all hours of the night lookin for scares. I was so surprised to see the road is now gone once you pass Hale Farm!

Another great one. Set in my old backyard. The only story I ever heard before was the cow one. Thanks.

I went there in Grade school as a field trip, The Hale Family had orchards where they picked apples, made cider. I remember getting apples from there on the field trip. And learning some of the ways a farm worked. I also remember their Draft horses

The Methodist Church at Hale Farm used to stand in my town center at Rt 14 and Rt 43. It got moved after a tornado came through destroying buildings.

That whole area from the Hale farm and Village down to the covered bridge always reminds me of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow
