I appreciate you posting this as We were all made to sing (Psalm 100). I was not a singer growing up but learned to listen to the notes and melodies of videogame music. I later started to sing in church and elsewhere after college. I now help others to sing by showing them both Psalm 100 and helping them to see they can sustain different tones and put them together to learn a new song.

However if you are too logical and minute detailed focus it will take forever to learn. I have tried and tried, but i always loose the feeling and am back at scratch zero. After 7 years i still dont even know how to sustain a single tone "correctly" and consistently. I have periods where i can sing anything as long as it is within my chest range, and also ed sheeran stuff that is more headvoice, but most days, i dont even know how to speak😂 fck i am literally going crazy learning to sing..
