She can’t be interrupted during the heavy special and she has a counter with 3 seconds of i frames. If combined with her ultimate, she can dish out burst damage in a large amount! She is a counter hit character. If you think she is bad, it probably just means you don’t like the play-style.

Jianxin is my absolute favorite because she's the embodiment of monk/counter playstyle with defensive utilities and with the right team and build AND player skill she can be decent and self-sustaining. This type of character is refreshing to have for certain people who aren't into the unga bunga clickity click braindead dps.

She is not an instant damage dealer like Jiyan. But multi role, and make it easier for solo as well. With correct position, she can taichi boss to hell

Well, there are mechanic to get "chi" faster like skill parry. She shields and heal with it, she's good, you just need to use her right, and it doesn't mean she sucks, it actually depends on who uses her.

Actually if she’s built properly she can be a dual support/dps, because her shield scales off of atk, if you put 5 piece lingering tunes you can use the zig zag echo and it will freeze time for a couple seconds to build up the shield, my jianxin isn’t fully yet but she will be soon

Jianxin is insane, i main her even picked abyss surges for her, when there are multiple attacks coming that u can parry, the ultimate gains so much value against the boss
With turtle echo u basically gain no dmg when charge attacking unless its a charge atk of a boss
If u just need healing u can cancel the charge atk earlier
