Man insane, when I was in a mine-countermeasures squadron we would magnitize a 25'x 12" pipe to 200 gauss' with a field coil running on 220v DC it would cause mechanical watches to stop working within about 10' of it.

Now you have become endearing. As a child I took things apart as well. When I was coming up the favored life careers for females were wife and mother.
