I go over why guntubers or other content creators will not leave YouTube.

due to new rules I can no longer say and do a lot of things that show how my channel is supported. One of the greatest ways you can support the channel is by going to my website here

People watch Guntubers and complains about getting paid then unironically watch NASCAR too.

I have viewers ask why I’m not on Rumble and/or others. And that’s the problem, I am which tells me, they’re not on there either.

I'm on all the platforms. The search engines are terrible.

Most of the time I can't find my own videos if I do a search.

As a 2nd Amendment content creator, I agree with everything you've said. What's crazy is if Youtube would just let us make the content that our viewers want to see without censorship or demonization, Youtube would make way more money, too.

They're losing money with these discriminatory policies.

I got hung up on monetization in the beginning. It was James Yeager I heard ask for money first. I mean when I first knew or came to learn about monetization. Not ads. Now I understand it all. The whole YT policy toward firearms is absurd. I wish we could change it.

Lots of fact here. 13 years on yt I agree it’s money that keeps us here.

Because none of the audience will go to x.
But when YouTube cancels us everyone will go to x. It will be fine.

I’m only at ~6k subscribers. My channel is primarily DIY, but really, it’s whatever I feel like uploading. Lately, gun videos have been growing my channel. With zero sponsors, my income comes from YouTube and Amazon Affiliate links. I make ~$140/month from YouTube. I have made ~$22 LIFETIME from Rumble. Recording, editing and uploading videos is a lot of work. I have thought many times about stopping because I make so little return on my time invested. So that’s why I just create videos that I would be looking for. Or answer questions that I had to figure out on my own, because no one else had in their videos.

Your candor and presentation just earned you a subscriber! This is the first video of your’s I’ve seen, which highlights another perk of this platform. For better or worse, the algorithm does offer up videos that reflect a person’s viewing habits which sometimes results in “happy coincidences”.

I like what YouTube offers but I don’t like being able to show all of my content on there. It’s discouraging being a small channel and not being able to set myself apart and really be able to talk about things I’ve learned throughout my time. I really hope something can be done. Great points and a good argument as well.

They demonetized my channel after I posted a short of that recent hypersonic Russian Airstike… the views shot up a few days after I posted then I get the notification about being demonetized…

There’s no other option. Like our country, one or two “choices”…

I like how YouTube algorithm show me stuff that I would not have discovered on my own. Rumble's mobile app sucks ass on android, and it's algo is nonexistent. If YouTube completely banned second amendment related stuff I would probably leave for good though

I am working on a solution that will bring clicks to videos no matter where they are hosted, hoping to launch at the start of 2025

Somebody call Elon and have him buy YouTube. In all seriousness, I hate that you had to do an explanation video but some simply don't know. A question, does it help if we go straight from her and "Like" or whatever on the other platforms? I simply don't know that answer
