See the look in Kyle's eyes, they've seen horrible things that not yet happen but they show the fear within to Sarah and she believes. Badass acting right there boys.

Listening to Kyle talk about John just makes you realise that no movie has ever come remotely close to portraying adult John well.
I think the key to a good adult John is a quiet, sombre man, the kind of man who has lost a lot (including his childhood) seen much pain and evil but holds an unshakable faith in the potential of human beings to unite. To put all differences of the past aside and come together as one, not just to defeat their enemy, but use their struggle to make a new and better humanity than before.
Not so much a millitary leader, more a political ethicist who people chose to lead them.

Great show of suspense having the sound effects of the cars passing by, giving us a reminder the terminator is out there looking for them.

Here's the difference between a character like Rey from Star Wars and a character like Sarah from Terminator. Sarah began her journey from a place of *weakness, vulnerability, and fear.* She doubted herself and rejected her fate as humanity's savior. But through STRUGGLE and HARDSHIP, she BECAME strong. That's what an ARC is.


Rey was always "awesome" and "empowered" from the start so there was nothing for her to overcome.
