I like your voice - but can't hear the difference on the mics. Excellent singing...

The Audio Technica AT2020 actually seemed to sound the best in the singing test.

The Shure has that record sound, blocks out your room so nicely

If anything, this video did more for audio technica on terms of quality. It shows how well it does up against the pricier tools. You were spot on with the results. It became a tad bit rough on high pitched words, but barely noticeable. Nothing that a little EQ couldn't smooth out. I've used it for many years. It doesn't take a lot of work on a mix. The Rode and Shure definitely has a slight edge, but I somewhat expected that. The pricing seems to be very different, but the quality is very similar. They really hit the airwaves about even to my ears. Great way to compare and great singing voice by the way 👍🏾

1) AT 2020 generates brighter vocal with little noise
2) Rode was in the middle, Bright but the noise was less
3) Shure sounds a little damp or I can say it is less on the higher side of the vocals but focuses more on lows
That's how I perceived

you should have done it raw not mixed.

In just a video, I really can't hear much difference. You do have a nice voice though.

The higher you go up in the quality of microphones, the higher you need to go up in audio gear to be able to tell the difference. Always thought this sort of people misled people... Great video!

Very structured video straight to the point well deserved like; extra points for not stretching video to 10min 💯

audio tech and rode are the same the shure is just a tad more crisp and picks up the vocals better but with a good engineer honestly you're good

Great tutorial. Sounded like the AT2020 had the most clarity. The Shure SM7B seemed a little muddy to me even though it was the most expensive. An eq could probably fix it but it def had the nicest low end.

No need for tests man. Just sing... Wow - I'm blown away.

The AT2050 is so divisive! It's a workhorse but it really depends on its use. I find it great for capturing a rooms ambience when recording. But then others hate it's frequency response...I just don't know...I JUST DON'T KNOW.
