Basically the husband made the bracelet with dnr which is supposed to be the first letter of their kids name but in the medical term dnr means Do Not Resuscitate, so the husband left his wife on to die and because of the bracelet, the paramedics can't save her

As a paramedic, this wouldn’t happen. We need to see the ACTUAL DNR or else we just do CPR anyways, they’re extremely strict about it. A random piece of jewelry with the letters “DNR” engraved on it is not the same as an actual official medical alert bracelet and would not look the same. A note, a tattoo, a t-shirt, etc all do not count. I know it’s just a little made up story but just in case anyone was concerned about this, it’s really not possible, it’s more likely that we’ll do CPR when you don’t want us to (because of laws)

Explanation: The initials on the bracelet are D, N, R, which stands for Do Not Resuscitate, which basically means to not perform CPR or try to save her from death if she got severely injured.

For those who dont understand: This mother had the initials D. N. R. And she git injured or something.. and DNR stands: do not resuscitate.

I doubt that would work, though. Paramedics don't let anyone just die just because of three letters. Someone could just put the bracelet on her. This is not consent. But a good story. The husband clearly also caused the accident.

I'll be the paragraph guy today.

This mom got gifted a bracelet which had D. N. R. On it, her children's initials. When she g9t injured of similisr, the parsmedics were checking her and would see the bracelet, DNR.
DNR stands for so not Rescusitate.

Donna, Rick, and Rachel stand for DNR which is something paramedics use to not preform cpr on a person. (Dnr=do not resuscitate) when he put that on her he wanted the people to see that so when he severely injured her, they wouldnt preform cpr to save her. *luckily* that would never happen because it would have to be a wristband/ document from the hospital. It would have a certain look to it that seems real. They wouldnt listen to a piece of clothing or jewelry likely. But, the video is really nice

I’ll explain

So this girl got a bracelet that said DNR which stands for Donna, Rick, and Rachel as in her kids… as she thought. But it actually meant do not resuscitate which means do not do CPR if dying

My stepdad had a dnr

Basically all I knew with him was trauma from an old enough age to understand it wasn’t okay, so it’s hard to be too heartbroken. But his passing was strange and the dnr was stranger. He was quite lively when he went, it was incredibly unexpected

this is so sad, a dnr is a do not resuscitate order, usually given to terminal patients or patients in hospice care. my aunt had a dnr.

For those who don't understand
The initials on the bracelet spell out DNR which also means DO NOT RESUSCITATE
meaning the paramedics would think they couldn't revive her.

this is actually more of a joke than a horror story. it’s a good idea though, i laughed. its unrealistic, but funny

Y’all it stands for do not respond or resuscitate

Technically paramedics wouldn’t do that cause they need a visual paperwork of saying DNR. IK it’s a skit but in real life that wouldn’t happen lol

Explanation:DNR is an oral or written instructions to medical personnel that a person generally does not want to receive cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
