Heartbreaking. Just a few hours ago I checked out the Game Informer YouTube channel to make sure it was still there after I saw that my local GameStop had shut down. And then I hear this news. Much love to the GI crew. Sad week for gaming.

My dad had a subscription even before I was born. I had one from the time I was 13 to till I was 23. I remember reading some of the earlier ones with my dad when I was a kid.

Back when before internet was a big thing I remember coming home from school excited to receive the next Game Informer and Nintendo Power magazines in the mail and reading them. And I remember each magazine back then came with a demo disc of an upcoming game. Thanks for the fond memories Game Informer.

I Could not afford all the games when i was young- Game Informer magazine allowed me to experience these games in a time without twitch or youtube - ill be forever grateful- key core memories

One of my first magazine memories was getting their Fable 1 covers in the mail. It was an awe inspiring art and article.

Game Informer was hard to get in Canada but I enjoyed reading the issues I was able to grab at Game Stop. The reviews were excellent and enjoyed some of the recent coverage. If these guys were to do anything new, I will subscribe right away.

2 magazines I loved to collect were Wizard and Game informer. They always had the greatest covers .

Well how time flies. I remember junior high, I always get Game Informer to read the developer interviews and check out the review of the games! No wonder why Gamestop isn't respected by the general masses of people. This is really an evil thing that company did, laying off many employees, just sick!
