Standard Shoelace Knot tutorial – Professor Shoelace

Shoe tying tutorial for the “Standard Shoelace Knot”, also known as the “Bunny Rabbit Knot” or “One Loop Shoelace Knot” or simply the “Bowknot”. Make a loop with one end, wrap the other end around and pull a loop through the “hole” in the middle.
Shows how to tie it correctly either right-handed or left-handed to produce a “balanced” knot that sits straight and stays secure.

Don’t normally comment on videos but I always used the bunny ear method but wanted to do this method, tried a few other videos but only this seemed to click. It actually made the other videos click as well. May sound silly but thank you so much

I was only ever taught how to do the bunny ears method, and other people used to bully me for not using the one loop method (for some inexplicable reason). I decided to go ahead and learn this method anyways, even though I haven’t heard from any of them in years. Thank you for teaching me this method, now my scars can heal.

I was so stoked when i finally got the hang of it and learned how to do it at a faster pace.
I always did the "bunny ear method" because thats what my parents taught me. Since im only twelve i was able to learn it faster than i thought i would, but although at first i was so confused about the whole loop process and kept failing getting the knot tight i eventually got it after like an hour.
