Helicopter lands on 110 Freeway in South L.A.

Freeway lanes in South Los Angeles were shut down after a helicopter made an emergency landing Thursday night.

The helicopter touched down on the southbound lanes of the 110 Freeway, just north of the 105 Freeway interchange at around 8:30 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol. Three people, including the pilot, were aboard and landed without injury.

Wow! Thank God it was later in the day and no motorist was hurt. It was insane trying to get home last night navigating the side streets since the on-ramps were blocked.

AT this point, there is no law that is working in California.
Everyone does what he/she can. From smash and grab to parking on the freeway.

Now, this is where those mobile trucks would be useful to give those waiting instead of complaining can have a relaxing cup of coffee as they wait bumper to bumper. Good move. sounds like he radio ahead so police were there to stop the traffic
