This is off this video's topic, but I have an inventory struggle I'm dealing with and I need professional help.. this is going to get a little lengthy.
I work at a small dog food preparation company in a pretty small town. They've never had an inventory manager or position until I started working here; they thought I would be good for that first-time position. Since nothing has been officially entered in a digital inventory or anything like that, I'm having to take note of every single item in the facility, but a lot of the items I count are incorrect either in weights or pallets because there is so much I have to count for. In total there are seventeen reefers that can fit up to 36 pallets of frozen product in each. Then there are four containers for spices and ingredients and whatnot.
What do you think is the best way I should take note and enter all of this into the inventory website? It's not entering it that's the hard part, it's getting a correct count and not losing track.
Any tips or help is very much appreciated!
