Flyzone DHC-2 Beaver RC Airplane Review and Flight

Candy and I took the Beaver out to a local lake and had a blast with it. Even though there were winds around 10 mph the Beaver handled like a champ. There are so many good things about this airplane that it's hard to know where to start.

Standard options with that come with this plane are...

Navigation and landing lights
Flaps
Conventional landing gear
Water floats with working water rudders

Build time is about an hour or more depending if you use the landing gear or go with the water floats. Also you do not need glue or tape to build the model, just a screw driver and you are good to go.

You will get a higher burst rate from the higher C rated battery. This means you can draw power at a higher amp rating which means more power to the motor.

Vertical stabilizers comes to mind right off the top of my head. I'll have to check the manual to see what they named them. All I can remember from the build right now is the pictures. I do good with pictures! lol...

It's a matter of personal taste. There are several good flight sims on the market. I always look for support after the sale and who is continuing to add models to their simulator. My two favorites at the moment are Real Flight and Aerofly.

I live right next to a large pond and have been considering a boat with floats. That gives me a nice wide open area without Trees.

The plane can be modded to accommodate a 4S battery; however, I had plenty of power during my flight even in the winds.
