The flap servo placement, battery compartment, Wing hinges, and the hidden servo in the Wing are very similar to the Flyzone turbo beaver.

As someone that started out in the model airplane hobby 65 years ago, it ASTOUNDS me to hear someone actually apologize for taking FOUR WHOLE to "assemble" a model airplane. The hobby used to be BUILDING and then flying the model you built. Now, unless you can just unwrap the plastic rap and fly the thing an apology is necessary. Just shows the amount of atrophy that has occurred in the hobby.

Pretty sure that’s a re-release of the flyzone beaver. Looks identical to the one I bought 7 years ago, ( different paint scheme). Fortunately, it’s proven to be a good airplane. I still have it and it flies great!

Actually it's a re release of an older Flyzone model which was quite popular and a good flyer. They have also re released the 1.4m Seawind, a plane that I bought on sale right before it was discontinued years ago. That is another good flyer with the bonus of being an actual amphibian with retracts so you can taxi from land into water and vice versa.

Well now ya know we need to see the float footage. Seems like setting up those flaps at the field would be a little finicky. Trying to get those little wires through the connecter. ugh..(Assuming by what I saw, that's what one needs to do)

Nice video! Too bad you never put the floats on, even for just a cameo. After all, it is in the title! Love the airplane, but living in the PNW, all I ever see are Beavers with floats! never seen one without. Plus, it looks awesome doing stunts with floats, like I do with my Turbo Timber. Good flying, as usual!
